2011 - STAMPS OF BRAZIL - 15

The Brazilian Post celebrates Paulo Gracindo, man and character, in the centenary of his birth, one of Brazil’s most prestigious actors, recognized for his significant work in numerous movies, TV series, radio and TV programs and soap operas. Issued on July 16, 2011, the stamp presents Gracindo’s face and one of his phrases - “I lived on stage and represented in life.”  The masks symbolize the representation in theater and in the lower left, the imprint of Mercosur (agreement among Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay) because it is a common issue (theme) of these countries.
