FDC FROM LATVIA

The Latvian Post issued on October, 15th, 2010 a beautiful Ls 0.98 stamp depicting Užavas bãka.. The Latvian word for a lighthouse is bāka. The  19 m (62 ft) white round cylindrical stone tower was built in 1879 on a headland  about 24 km (15 mi) southwest of Ventspils. Thank you, Juris for the FDC.
